FS700 B Cam?

Anyone eyeballing the PMW X70 as a B cam for the 700?
The specs look pretty solid. 1' sensor, Zeiss 12x glass, 4:2:2 10bit, 50mbs, 120fps/60p...
Am I missing something or is thing a firecracker?

Looks like an interesting little camera, love that it has 10bit signal. Can't find much information on what gammas and colour modes it features though, so that might be the only real issue when trying to match it to the FS700.

Anyone know the RRP?

3G-SDI too! lol think the biggest problem is convincing my clients I am a pro when I pull this thing out. LMFAO

Found this on XDCAMUSER

CRISP, SHARP IMAGES:

The HD images are crisp and sharp without any obvious sharpening, almost certainly a result of having a 4K ready sensor. The lack of obvious detail correction helps give the pictures a pleasing, more filmic look. The camera has picture profiles so if you want you can soften or sharpen the images if you choose. As well as detail and aperture controls there are also controls for gamma (standard, still, Cinematone1, Cinematone2, ITU709) and color. The color controls are similar to those on the FS700 where you can adjust the saturation as well as R, G, B, C, M, Y and K brightness. In addition there is a choice of 6 different preset color modes plus black and white.

Cinetone is what the FS100 had instead of the Cinegammas of the Fas700.

Sony link seems to only mention 60fps slow mo - are you sure about the 120fps? Personally I've just ordered a Pocket cam for my second camera, because, well, it was really offing cheap!

does it record in a slog profile? if not it might be a handicap for 7Q shooter as probably you will have to match the A-cam FS700/7Q to the B-cam. I tested the BMPCC as B-cam and found ProRes film profile quite easy to match with 7Q 4K2HD slog

Are you getting a speed booster for that too?

I believe the ax100 does 2x slo-mo. 30p gets you 60fps, 60p gets you 120fps (IN 4K!).Don't know why that wouldn't be the same with this cam. Still with all the features, 60fps in 1080 (or higher) is pretty damn good. Not a comparison obviously, but the c300 doesn't have that and really chaps my ass as that's main reason I haven't jumped from my fs700. Say what you will, but the people who sign the checks love their over cranking LOL

Speed booster is £500 right?

What did you pay for your BMPCC?

£299+VAT - I got it on the (incredibly brief!) half price deal. To be honest, it was an impulse buy, I had been thinking vaguely about getting it as a b-cam but I probably would never have bothered had it not been half price.

What b-camfor fs700 would you recommend to a maximum budget of $1000? Was thinking of a6000, shame it's got that time limit of 29 minutes (I will use it for interviews). If I will use external recorder (Atomos for example) can I bypass this limit?
Thanks!

I've also been using the BMPCC as a B-Cam for the FS7Q. I think it matches fairly closely, but am in the same situation as Colinelves regarding purchasing the speedbooster. Like I said, does a decent job matching color-wise, but then makes you sad when you A/B it with the 4k2hd file when considering sharpness. I think it works really well when intercutting b-roll and similar, but when A/B-ing it in interview settings it's a little trickier.
