Back from my Phoenix engagement and ready to rock and roll with the new firmware. Updated my O7Q and, now, playing with the various options. Reading others' posts as fast as I can and noticing what has been seen by others. Must say, the 4k footage looks absolutely stunning, and, very, very forgiving of exposure errors. 4k2HD-slog2 also looks good. 4k2HD-Rec709 looks better than the native avchd, but, yeah, I see the purple fringing. Need more tests, but, this 4k2HD-slog2 looks like my go-to choice. Running some footage thru Resolve, right now. Really am liking what I see. options, options, options....

Sorry if you misunderstood, because of my typing....4k2HD-slog2,prores at 24fps gives me better than 5 hrs record time per 512GB SSD, more than enough.
 
yeah, it's a bit garish, which can be dealt with in post. But, why deal with the fringing when Slog2 makes a pretty decent image, even without CC? Despite what some others have said, I like the results from Resolve. The downside to Resolve is that the on-screen monitor is rather poor quality. One seriously needs an external pro monitor to see the image accurately.

I think my standard grading workflow will still be in premiere pro with colorista II or for more control in AE. I do like the extra features in resolve but it seems too clunky a workflow to then go to Premiere.

I agree SLog2 looks good even without grading or a simple tweak with real time CC gives great results.

Still not tried with skin tones for IV footage. Anyone done this yet?
