FS700 And Nikon 80-200mm f/4

I shot with the new 18-300 Nikon. While the images were solid it was an unruly beast to tame and very "unbalanced" on the 700.
The Nikon zoom mechanism was too stiff...

i was looking at this lens for corporate and run-around stuff, but I'm not sure. I've read some neg reviews that besides your points, mentioning the pin-cushioning at 18mm and lack of definition at some focal lengths. Maybe an 18-200 Nikon 3.5 might be the go. I have also been looking at the new 18-135 Sony Alpha as it will do SSM auto-focus with the EA2 adaptor, but the reach is probably too short.
