FS700 and FCPX

This is going to sound dumb but can someone explain to me in simple terms how to take 240fps on my fs700 and get it onto a 24fps timeline on Final Cut Pro X? Literally step by step would help me the best. I'm new to this camera and I don't know what to do. I appreciate the help.

My FS700 saves the 240fps clips to the SD card as 1080p24 files... So you shouldn't have to do anything other than drag the clip in.
 
Create event, open project. Set format (same as material, default) and drop into timeline. It will be set at 1080p 24 if that is the mode your camera was set at.
