FS700 - Add markers when filming?

Is there a function in the FS700 to add markers when filming, as a way of pinpointing key moments in filming? I'd like to make a sort of marker on the footage (like in FCP) so when I ingest the footage it will have these markers attached as a way of remembering key points I wanted to remember.

No, there is no such function. Maybe someday the Odyssey 7Q will offer something like this for use with the FS700 (Like good, no good, etc.); who knows. All the FS700 offers is numbered clips.

On the fly marking is difficult as it means embedding something non-standard into the signal. We do have some ideas for marking upon playback, but that is a different solution.
