FS7: FS7 wifi dongle replacement

[kevin gallagher]

So I have a bad wifi dongle for my FS7.
Is there a possibility it can be replaced with a cheap-o wifi dongle from Amazon? I'm not sure how this stuff works.

Can anyone provide a link to legit sony replacement parts?

thanks
Kevin

I think you want the IFU-WLM3 USB Wireless LAN Module? Available at B&H Photo.

You can also use the larger module which allows for video monitoring:

These are the only options. Other LAN modules are not compatible, per the FS7 manual.
