FS7: FS7 -> WB and ISO?

Sorry for the really ridiculous questions.... maybe I'm having a stroke though...

Why can't I dial in a white balance, or change the ISO to what I want? I can only use the presets or auto?!?!
What am I missing here??

I assume you're in CINE EI mode? Alister Chapman has posted a ton of guides helping people understand how (and more importantly why) this is a feature, not a bug.

If you want to shoot more like a "classic" video camera, you want to be in CUSTOM mode.

Hey

Thanks for the response - Yeah I managed understand CINE EI (2000 ISO lock... I can change the EI, but that is repositioning the cameras native sensitivity rather than changing the actual ISO if I understood that properly, 3 WB to use, must use LUT)

I assigned ISO to the assignable dial... Initially that did nothing -> eventually I figured out the cable wasn't plugged in properly ... even though all the other functions on it were working, unplugged -> plugged back in -> ISO good to go by the assignable dial)

3 WB options in CINE EI so that the LUTs work properly
in CUSTOM -> I'm only able to use Preset A/B.... Or set auto white balance button on the front... Unable to figure out how to dial in a white balance value yet!

Paint>White dial down to preset. However preset currently requires an adjustment on the color temp balance item. try -18 for 5600 or -4 for 3200. Anything else and you'r e on your own. Its is a green /magenta axis.
