I started fixing these almost as soon as they were in the field. In the last month I had three shooters call me for this handgrip repair and I fixed 2 of them. Strange cause I have not fixed many since Sony addressed the issue with the FS7 reboot. They built in the same brace I was adding aftermarket.
But clearly some guys are still having the problem so FYI - yes I can fix that or most any issue you are having. I run a camera centric machine shop in New Orleans and can get you turned around fast - usually 24 hrs. I charge 75 minimum and 60/hr. I think I've fixed nearly 150 FS7's viewers, grips and even an internal XLR board one time. Def DO NOT leave me a DM here if you need to talk text 504 355 6106. Good shooting
