Has anyone had any success in the past with cutting an epic dragon and fs7 together? We've received a last minute request for our shoot to use 2 cameras but only have these two on hand. Any help would be appreciated.
If you have someone who's going to color match it for you that knows what they are doing then sure, of course it can be done. You can also use Davinci Resolve to do a color match based on x-rite color swatch if you shoot it with both camera's first. Some people have had good success with it. Just rememberer to add the LUTs to the footage first THEN use the color match function.
My honest advice is that it's probably not worth the headaches or hassles later on to shoot with 2 different cameras. I would just get 2 of the same cameras if you can. I have the same problem when I get request for 2 or 3 camera shoots.
