I did an interview shoot with my FS7 as A camera my client's GH5 as B camera and the settings were as the title describes. To get a really good match (depth of field wasn't critical) in edit all that was needed was to drop the black level on the FS7 about 8% (FCPX) and, wow, they looked close enough! For those of you that don't know the the Bill Jensen b-roll "cocktail" it is basically HG8 and "F55709 like" with some other minor tweaks. I use HG8 for almost everything that doesn't allow for an S-Log workflow.
Anybody have any thoughts on this or experience the same results?
The GH5 is an amazing device at $2000.
Makes me wonder a bit why I own 2 FS7s for non-log multi-cam shooting!?!
