FS7: FS7 on Dji Ronin? Do you see any issues that can occur?

I want to mount put a Sony FS7 on the ronin, with redrock follow focus/finger wheel on the camera.. iyiyi... this is getting to become a head ache to think about.. Will know what works when the FS7 gets here on Friday.

I have been attempting to do the same thing. The biggest challenge I have found is with the stiffness of the redrock FF cords and not allowing the ronin to be able to balance properly because the cords seem to pull it one way or another when attached to the finger wheel.

Let me know if you have any luck! I'm still working on finding the best solution.

Edit- As gene said below and I forgot to mention, I am using the extension arms because the stock arms barely work and really limit your usable lens selection.

You need the arm extensions. It's impossible w/o the arm extension as I've tried. I got the cheap Chinese arms and they work great. Now I can easily balance a remote follow focus and larger lens if needed. Without the arms, the FS7 just barely balances.

Also, The FS7 LCD mounts on the handle bars great. I do it all the time and it works well.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Do you have pics of your setup? I would especially love to see what it looks like with mounted monitor!

Thanks!

Please check this,

It's the Ronin-M lighter, smaller, cheaper (second hand one can be found everywhere) than the Ronin.
You can put the FS7 monitor directly to the arm and even use the fs7 hand-grip as ronin support with the help of few gear.
A larger and heavy battery to balance, the little 15mm rod extension and a cinemiller plate to push the FS7 almost to the back of the setup.

If your lenses are light, no ned for anything else and you can get it without the need of a backpack support.
Feel free to see more there
