FS7: Fs7 Metabones help

We have a sony FS7 with a metabones Canon EF adapter on it. We are using the canon 24-70mm zoom lens 1:2.8.

Here's my issue: when I turn the iris wheel, the iris adjusts, but the camera is doing a weird auto shutter speed adjustment to compensate for proper exposure. It won't stay at 180 degree or 48 speed.

Do you know how to fix this? I've been through all of the menus and can't figure it out.

i turned it off. thanks. not sure how i turned it on. I still can't get the zebras to turn on or see the histogram or wave form in the lcd.

I just talked to sony. To see the waveform, I had to change it from crop to letterbox. I also have firmware 1.01. He said to update to 1.10.

This camera is pretty deep! I love it. Just have a lot to learn.

Hi,

I use Nikon lenses with Metabones speedbooster ultra, the iris works fine on the speedbooster but the iris wheel doesn't change anything, is it normal ?

Is there a green and an advanced mode on the speedbooster for Nikon lenses as for the sppedbooster for canon lenses ?

Thanks

Duol,
The Nikon Metabones Speedbooster is all manual and doesn't have any electronic communication between itself and the camera (unlike the Canon version). So the Iris wheel on the camera won't affect the lens, you need to physically change the iris on the Speedbooster.
