FS7: FS7 LCD help

Hi all,

I also received a free Zacuto FS7 Recoil rig with my camera and wanted to use the Mini Axis arm along with the Sony LCD like on the video here at 3m47s

Does anyone know how to detach the screen from the small 15mm black rod that it's mounted to?

My camera arrived yesterday and I'm a little reluctant to use brute force on anything yet....

I've detached it from the rod and put it on another rod. It's been a minute, but it's very easy. I think you need an allen wrench and you just unscrew it.

My ageing eyesight has rounded off the allen bolt, so in my mind I was convinced it wasn't an allen bolt.

I would just recommend trying both metric and standard allen keys, and just test for snugness first. The bolt is a size where you could find a hex key that seems like it will work, but is actually a bit too small, and can easily strip the bolt.

Be careful not to strip it, as I did.
