Pleased to announce that our "chick flick" shot on the FS7, Providence, has been accepted into the AMC Independent theater lineup for a February 12, 2016 release. So if you want to see how the footage holds up on the big screen, now's your chance.
We are also having a red carpet premiere Nov. 8 at the Franklin Theater in Franklin TN.
Here's the Facebook page if you want to keep up with the progress of the film:

Providence was shot in 4K internally with an assortment of vintage Nikkor lenses, Tokina 11-16,and a Rokinon 85mm. I'll be checking with the theater shortly to see if they will be screening it in 4k, or if they will need a 2K conversion. When the AMC release happens a DCP will need to be made, still looking into that.
While it's somewhat of a story for the ladies, there are a few bones in there for the guys, including a car crash and high school scenes with parking lots full of 70's muscle cars.
