As mentioned in other places , my feature Providence will screen in 7 theaters nationwide Valentines weekend and the week following- maybe even longer if ticket sales are good. Might be a good chance to see how XAVC (4K downrezzed to 2K) holds up on the big screen. Why 2K? Because very few theaters have 4K projectors.

AMC theaters in Tulsa, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Destin, LA (Orange county) and NYC (Empire Times Square) will show it. Every theater will have Q & A's with either the producers or the actors on opening weekend, usually after the 7pm show. Thanks for supporting your local DVXuser!

“Providence” is a charming, artistic, attractive, earnest, and innocently simple fil.jpg

Got reviewed today by the Charlotte Observer (very favorable) and the NYC Movie Guru, a "Rotten Tomatoes" critic (gave us an "8" out of 10). Doing a Q & A tonight after the 7:15 screening in Destin FL. Also screening at AMC theaters in Orange, Ca, Tulsa, Jacksonville FL, NYC Times Square, and Charlotte through next Thursday (even longer if box office is good).
