FS7 Confusion with Settings.. Please HELP!

Hello everyone.

I'm having two problems with the fs7..
one: I just upgraded to firmware version 2 and I can't enjoy the prores recording option its grayed out all the time. is there any specific setting I have to do to enable it?
two: I can't bring up the histogram on the display.. I couldn't find it in the menu or anywhere..

Hopefully the topic will be moved.

Pro Res will only work if you have the extension back.

The histogram is under 'video signal monitor' and does not work if you have LUTs enabled.
 
Prores is only accessible if you have the FS7 extension unit. And to get the histogram you have to go into the menu option "VF" and click "display on/off" the. It will be under "video signal monitor (or something close to that name)".... You can't use a histogram or waveform when using Mluts though, which is a huge downer.
