FS5: FS5 with Speedbooster S&Q Issue (Canon 24-105)

I recently got a Sony FS5, and the Metabones E-EF Speedbooster Adapter, i've used all the other Metabones adapters with no issues (I own two of the regular E-EF Adapters) but this is my first speedbooster.
The issue is that whenever I put the camera into S&Q mode with the speedbooster and the Canon 24-105 attached, the image freezes until I detach and reattach the lens. Using the regular lens adapter this does not occur. I haven't tried S&Q on any other lenses with the speedbooster yet. Also, Speedbooster firmware was updated to the latest version when I bought it.

Is this a common problem? Wondering if I need to send the speedbooster back if so.

Never experienced that. Try updating the firmware on the speed booster again? Unless "when you bought it" is very recently.

I'd still give that a check. and if possible, try a different speed booster and see if the problem persists?
