F55: FS5 where is 2K RAW output ???

I did the raw upgrade on my FS5.
I need to shoot in 24P 2K RAW and record DNG files on my Odyssey.
However its really strange in either 50 or 60hrtz in the output settings I only have 4K at different frame rate but no 2K !

I'm going creazy , every where it says it does 2K even on convergent design video tutoriel they show 4 and 2K but not on my camera !!
I had it on my FS700 . On pro sony web site they say : "2K RAW at up to 240 fps"
I would therefore assume it does 24P 25P or 30P in 2K.

Hi,
On the FS5, 2K raw output is only available in the S&Q menu for HFR : 100, 120, 200, 240 fps.
For more regular frame rates (24, 25, 30, 50, 60), you have to record 4K (24, 25, 30, 50, 60) and downscale the raw signal on the odyssey using the 4K to 2K prores OR record 4K CDNG and convert it to 2K (or 1080) in post. i think that there is no CDNG 4K to 2K conversion on the odyssey for the moment.

2K (24, 25, 30, 50, 60) disappeared on a released FS5 firmware

I'm really disappointed,

On all communications I've seen, it says 2K raw 24P.
Even on Convergent design it still says :

• FS 4K RAW (24, 25, 30, 50, 60fps)
• FS 2K RAW (24, 25, 30, 50, 60, 100, 120, 200, 240fps)

I even seen a video of a guy who select 2K raw outpout from the FS5 menu !

FS700 has it, FS7 has it.
Sony says : "continuous 4K (4096 x 2160) RAW at up to 59.94 fps and continuous 2K RAW at up to 240 fps."


I paid 600€ , so yes, I was expecting my 2K raw
Sometimes, one needs to record in Raw , not in prores and 4K raw is 512 gigas for 26mn recording time, so 2k was good for me.

I'm shooting on monday and I said to everyone it would be 2k raw because it was so obvious to me.
So yes I feel a bit stupid and very disappointed...

The pre-release version of the Sony RAW for the FS5 provided to us included 2K RAW at all of those frame rates. But the official release version only has 2K RAW at 100-240p. We need to make those adjustments on the website.
