FS5: FS5 Viewfinder Fault

Hi all

I'm having an issue with my FS5's viewfinder.

When the viewfinder is in the default position (pushed down), it works fine.

When I lift it up, the viewfinder turns itself off.

I haven't experienced this before. I've played round with all the settings but I'm pretty sure it's a fault.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this and is there is a fix or maybe a setting that I'm missing?

Have you checked the cable at the other end? That is where I would look. The connection into the camera.

Thanks but just to clarify I'm talking about the EVF rather than the LCD screen.
