Other: FS5 threads will reside where?

[robfilms]

With Sony setting up FS5 release/dog & pony shows, I cannot help but want to attend and like the camera.

And then there is the real-world use of the camera, and the footage, and the codec.

For all of the resulting queries, I rely on several digital communities for a shared knowledge base with DVXuser being prominent.

But I don't see a designated FS5 forum.

So, Admin folks and others, where will the FS5 threads reside?

Thanks in advance.

Be well.

Depends on if you see the FS5 as the successor of the FS100 (which it is, aimed to knock out the C100 mk2 competition) or you see it as the FS7's little brother (which it also is!).

If you feel most strongly for the former, it should go over in the FS100 forums. If you feel most strongly for the latter (which is my viewpoint), then it should stick here alongside the FS7 threads.

post your request in the feedback section of DXV, the moderators aren't going to see this here.

In another thread, Dennis Hingsberg said (paraphrased): "I suggest renaming the current section to "PMW & PXW Cameras" and adding the FS5 prefix.

well there you go, someone has already suggested something! I guess go bump that thread and hope the mods see it.
