FS5: FS5 + Blackmagic Video Assist BIG PROBLEM

This combo in 4k not work,i buy Blackmagic Video Assist,i have set HDMI output 1080 ,i record in 4K with my FS5. Wen i start recording,my BM Assistent not working,I have no possibility to check shooting..monitor lost the signal

The problem you describe is actually a limitation of the FS5 that has nothing to do with the Blackmagic device. The FS5 cannot send a signal to the viewfinder and an external monitor/recorder at the same time while you are recording 4K internally. There is a menu setting that allows you to give priority to the EVF or the video output, but you can never have both at the same time. As soon as you press the record button you will lose one or the other. That is just a hardware limitation of the FS5.

Thank you Doug ... you're absolutely right i set my prioroty to BM Assistent,naw all ist ok..
