Mostly shot with the picture profiles i made which can be found here.
Enjoy the video!

From Ubud, to Tulamben, Legian, Kuta, Uluwatu, Lovina, and Canggu. Hanie & I travelled around Bali for 2 weeks. The oh so comforting food and the Samosa i love in Areklo Villa, Ubud. The wicked shipwreck in the under waters of Tulamben. The great company of my friends Alvin & Rica in both Legian & Kuta. The clear waters of the beaches around Uluwatu. The hunt for filming some dolphins in Lovina. And friends we made with the surf dudes in Canggu. The vast difference of every landscape as we travelled to different parts of Bali.
I am grateful to have met everyone i did in Bali, it couldn't be any better knowing any more or less. Weather was being kind, although the salty waters of Bali wasn't so kind to my camera equipment!
Here is Whatever There Was in Bali through my very eyes. Hope you enjoy this film, and hopefully pack your bags to your first or next visit to beautiful Bali!

thank you for sharing your considerable effort.

you should be very pleased with your piece.

you made the fs100 look so very capable when others only want the next, the newest camera

the lens choice were well used.

the legacy nikons really did a good job along with the sony wide adapter on the 16mm.

cheapo ebay e-mount adapters for the nikon?

your color grading were outstanding, how much was adobe and how much was sony?

care to share the picture profiles you used?

and the glidecam really added some smooth movement.

thumbs up.

be well.

Oh my, i replied you in the comments on the Vimeo page.
But i'll quote my reply here to make it resourceful to the other forummers. Thanks Rob!

Thank you for your kind words!
I believe the FS100 can go quite far once tweaked nicely, so the mind doesn't have to think too much about the camera! My choice of lenses were rather limited, mainly to keep the weight load minimal in my bag. Yes, cheapo e-mount to nikon adapters work just great!
The Sony NEX-FS100 costed me RM16, 000 (USD5300) for the body alone which i bought sometime early this year. As for Adobe, i used a company's production house' workstation.
I have a picture profile i've posted here which i used 95% of the time in Bali - dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?290881-Point8cam-s-PP&highlight=
And Frank Glencairn's ultimate picture profile when i want less red, more towards a greenish or cold tone which can be found on his website - frankglencairn.wordpress.com/
Hope that helps, thanks!

FuGZ,

Super job. That part of the world is one of my favourite places on Earth and you have captured beautifully. I enjoyed you Malacca video but this one topped that.

I look forward to the next one.

Thank you Nirv! Appreciate the kind words, thank you for sharing your knowledge about slope and knee back sometime. That realllyyyy helped shooting in the brightest of days!

Very nice footage FuGZ, was there any grading envolved or did you get that footage straight out of the camera?

Hey Gary, thanks. All footage was graded with Magic Bullet Colorista II, and the introduction i used a mix of Magic Bullet & Colorista.
