FS100 successor at Photokina?

Doesn't look like an FS100 successor to me at all too. This is something bigger. I don't see them replacing the FS700 now either, it's only just getting quite popular now. Perhaps a separate XDCAM line designed specifically for broadcast and C300 area, with 4K compressed and camcorder design. Keep raw and 240p for the FS700. That's my bet.

I think Im beginning to understand Sony (after years of bafflement) and they 'sector' stuff.

This is a top end 'Wedding Cinematography' camera - that is what the FS700 is now.

It is not a 'Production Camera' which is what the F5 is.

A 'production camera' is has connectivity for multicam and can access 2/3 lenses.

You can tell this is not a 'production camera' as it is made of the same plastic as Lego like the 100/700 and has E-mount

Feature requests.. http://www.sammorganmoore.com/three-things-on-fs700-ii/

S+Q
With the 100/700 the procedure to keep shutter at 180 is.. engage S+Q, change settings on the shutter angle – 3 pointless adjustments.

Digital Crop
Digitally cropping in with one touch would be a boon to event shooters

Focus Check
Make any focus check and the histograms (wave form please!) feed out, optionally, to external monitors.

is that a shoulder pad right above the tripod plate? Or is the shoulder supposed to go under and behind the "4k" text?
