Fs100 + rayxar 50mm F/0.75

With that lens and the sensitivity of the FS100, you could probably light the scene by the light not escaping from a black hole! :) Definitely interested to see what you get!

Hello

I found your posting for this unusual lens.

I also have one of these interesting lenses (as well as the even larger E65/0.75) and I just wanted to know how you found a way of reliably attaching it to a camera?

I have found that you can get quite a nice image by removing the rear element and simply holding it up to the sensor of a mirror-less camera like a Sony NEX-5 (E-mount).
This is, however a very awkward and precarious arrangement and not very practical.

You can get an adapter for the NEX that mounts 'C-Mount' lenses (i.e. small CCTV like lenses) and this is almost a fit for the Rayxar. Unfortunately, the hole (with its internal thread) needs to be a couple of millimeters wider.
I have not been able to find anyone who can machine the mount to make this hole wider AND put in a new internal thread.
You need a thread so that you can focus.

Any ideas would be most welcome.
