FS100 preamps (hiss/noise floor)

Hello! Just wanted to see if anyone else has been a little underwhelmed by the FS100 preamps. They aren't bad, but I get an audible hiss much more than an h4n. Anyone else notice this? Maybe it's just my camera.

are you using the mic that came with the camera?

I run a mixer line level into all my cameras, bypassing the Mic Pres.

No, I notice it with external mics.

What preamp do you use to bypass the FS100 preamps?
