Had a shoot last week with the fs100 and zeiss zf lenses. We had the novoflex adapter, which made it to where we had to lock the aperture on the lens and adjust using the adapter instead, which doesn't give any indication of f stop. It was a bit odd, but this part wasn't a huge concern, since I could still check my exposure accurately on a monitor--but it did cause a few weird issues when focusing. We shot mainly on one lens, and several times, during longer focus pulls, I noticed the exposure shifting slightly. It wasn't a smooth shift, that would be caused by iso or shutter speed being set to auto (they weren't). It was jerky, like aperture rings clicking between stops. I'm not sure why adjusting focus would have any bearing on that, but I'm guessing that mechanical connection of the aperture to the adapter somehow played in. Unfortunately we didn't have any type of backup and just had to make do. Anybody ever seen anything like that before?
