fs100 mts footage -> fcp7 / use clipwrap or let fcp7 log & transfer 2 pro res?

i have a series of two camera/fs100s interview shoots.

each camera will generate approx 6 hours of footage-12 hour total

i could take all that footage and use clipwrap to get me to pro res (or pro res LT-anyone with an opinion?)

or i can use fcp7's log & transfer function to get me to pro res.

i know it has been discussed before but i'm not clear on any final thoughts on the subject.

clipwrap or fcp log & transfer?

what are the true positives/negatives of each?

any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

be well.

I use log and transfer to proress LT any higher quality then that just waste
space and doesn't give you any better quality to your footage.

The only clips fcp can not read is 1080p60. So, if you shoot 1080p24/25/30 you can log and transfer with fcp. Like its been said, stick with prores LT anything else is just pumping more mbps into your image that you dont need.
