Hello People...

im new in the fs100 world, i know its a great camcorder, and it will be take a great DOF and FILMLOOK, but i want to know if the FS100 hit harder in hollywood or not?

everybody know the 5D MARK II is on hollywood.. the list is harder : captain america, Iron man 2, Black swan, Dr house season 6, Hell and back again documentary, and the list go on...

and now.. the MARK III is almost in the price of the FS100, well, very close.

i dont try to discuss about the FS100 quality, every body here know its superb, i just want to know some HOLLYWOOD MOVIES that was used the FS100 as a "b" camera, or "a" camera or some support camera...

thanks guys!!!

Can´t imagine that. They use DSLRs for their extremely small size. The FS100 is not really small so why not use an EPIC or similar instead?

You most likely know this, But the 5d2 was used mostly for it's size, and for a crash cam. Meaning if it breaks, no biggie, grab another and back to work. Plus it's full frame look is very unique, this also makes it attractive for certain scenes and shots. I dont know of any Hollywood productions using the fs100, but thats not to say there isn't any. It has lousy ergonomics, and it's bigger than a dslr, I imagine that makes it less of a desirable cam to use as a B cam. We know it's capable of producing a beautiful image, Frank has proved that over and over. But thats why I would guess it's not in many if any Hollywood films.
