FS100 had a though time: Sportstrailer video

Having my FS100 for over 2 years now, lots of corporate and studio. Couple of weeks ago I gave it a though time.
We needed a trailer for a sports-event, made a shotslist and got out shooting playing around.

12 days seeking the needed shots in boats on beaches, forest and mountains. Salt water, sand, rocks and rain.
The FS100 is thougher than it looks.

I shot everything in slowmotion with the kitlens and variable ND. Used a monopod and a small slider for on the go.
Most is FS100. 2 or 3 shots are nikon, few shots are the Alpha DSLR and everything (half)under water is Gopro 3.

So many cool extra footage for more films and promo's.

Great video! The FS100 in my opinion is the unsung hero in the pro camera world. Please share with us settings, PP and anything post.

Thank you very much.

Below my favorit PP for a while now. Also used it in this video. It realy get you some extra DR in the blacks. Also skin color is nice with g-log 2.0 i.m.o.
Further: it shot everything with s&q 50fps in 25p fx.
L.C.W. MKII fader ND.
Berkey top-plate with redrock top handle.
Used the fs100 viewfinder most of the time. I did shorten that long viewfinder tube, and taped it with ducktape.
Many shots manfrotto monopod and $100,- slider. One shot in boat with HD1000 steadicam.
One kayak shot from DJI drone/gopro. Rest of the airshot from airplane-window.

Further more it is alot of traveling and talking with sportmen, tourist and locals to get the right locations, people, action and animal shots.

I love this!
great shots, camera moves, edits & music.

I recognize the iconic Juliana airport, was this challenge shot on a series of islands? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Scott, apriciate it.
Very good, you see that right. It was shot in the Dutch Caribbean on St. Marten, Statia and Saba.
All very cool islands. I miss it and want to go back a.s.a.p :)

p.s. Pugs are awsome

I've not been since 2008. Kids & work have gotten in the way. Time flies!

I want to experiment with that pp, again thanks for sharing.
