FS100 Grading Test

HOORAY! Finally got FS100 yesterday. Grabbed camera, loaded AB_RANGE2 profile, went on the rooftop to film some footage and see how it will hold severe grading. All shot handheld with kit lens in 10 mins. ISO 500 everywhere except the last scene - that one was 1600. I intentionally filmed flat, and did excessive grading just to see how good is AVCHD 4:2:0. After DSLR's H.264 this one grades sooooo much better. I'm pretty amazed with resolution and sharpness! Vimeo compression and H.264 out of Premiere won't let you see all the details, but when grading I was more than pleased with dynamic range and smooth rolloff between shadows and highlights. Also ISO 1600 is super clean.

Can't wait to start filming projects with it!
