Can anyone provide a guide to the time taken to ingest xx minutes of rushes into FCP7 on a fairly up to date Mac?
Whilst SxS could do 8x real time given a following wind, 6x in the real world, SDHC cards in adaptors do around x2.3 real time. Whilst this can be a bit of a drag, I've been working at these speeds for quite a while now.
Does the AVCHD to ProRes process improve on that?
