FS100 Audio Video Drift & Camera Crash

I have had my FS100 for a month or 2 and love it. Since i've had it though, i've noticed the audio and video will drift out of sync while recording. It doesn't effect the recorded clips, just the monitoring while recording. Today I was recording a speaker and it got much worse than I've ever seen with say a 1 second or so delay. Then all of sudden the camera stopped and it tried to recover the the corrupted file (to no avail). Because I had to keep filming this live event I started recording again and no further issues all day. Using Transcend class 10 32gig cards.

Anybody experienced this?

Thanks,

I have never seen that happen and I had a FS100 for 2 years - shot a whole movie with it - never had a problem. Try a high end Sandisk card. If you get the same problem, send it to Sony.

I'm going nuts trying to find a huge thread in which this audio drift issue was brought up and verified by numerous users. Definitely experienced it myself but never had an issue with an actual crash. That is troubling.

As for the sync drifting, it is a pain in the field (especially if a client is watching monitors along with me)....but the footage is nice and synced on my timelines.

Glad and sorry to hear I'm not the only one. Hopefully the crash was just a weird anomaly. I think All cameras eventually have a hiccup of some sort.
