Hello!

Up for sale I have a Zeiss 12mm T1.3 Super Speed Super 16mm Lens. It's the Mark I version of the lens in Arri Bayonet with the 6 blade hexagonal iris (which I prefer to the triangular iris of the Mark II and III.)

Mechanically it's in good shape. The focus and iris are smooth. There might be a slight shift when racking focus back and forth, though.

Optically the front element is fairly clean with just a few minor insignificant cleaning type marks (no impact on the image.) The rear element has a few light marks as well, which again have no impact on the image.

However, there is one pretty big scratch on the rear element that would have an impact on the image, EXCEPT for the fact that it's outside of the area of view when the lens is mounted to have the witness marks on the dumb side or smart side of the camera (basically just not directly on top.) I also blackened the scratch with ink in order for it not to flare into the field of view.

While the scratch, when rotated away, does not impact the image AT ALL - it does lower the value of the lens. So, I'm pricing the lens at $525 shipped anywhere in the U.S. (and plus shipping elsewhere.) Get yourself some Super Speed goodness for cheap. I'll also include a 70mm to 85mm clamping ring for matte box usage (although I'd recommend not using a heavy weight clamp on, as the lens is not completely internally focusing.)

Fun fact: this lens will cover the GH4 in UHD, although the corners will vignette when not stopped down. I'd recommend cropping 5% if you'd want to use the lens wide open on that camera.

Another fun fact: combining this lens with the Tinsley 0.6x wide angle that I'm selling on another thread will convert this lens to a 7.2mm (that clamping ring I'm including with the Zeiss will work perfectly with the Tinsley as well.) It also broadens the image circle just a hair so that it will cover a little bit more on the GH4, so you don't have to stop down as much to cover that camera.

Also, if you need an Arri Bayonet to m4/3 adapter, I'd sell you probably the best one out there for fairly cheap. :)

Please PM me with any questions.

Take care!
