OK its time to let it go...
I'm selling my Varicam F, because I finally found a used Viper in a reachable price (60K€...), it is in a very good condition and it gives superb images as all have seen in this forum... I measure an HPX 500 on a ISO res chart and it gives 580lines, my Varicam in the same setup (with the same lens) gives more than 700 lines...
So for some one that wants a good performer a Varicam owned by a good reputation man like me, its a bargain for let's say 11.000 euro's... thats about 15K$... For the body and the viewfinder...
My camera's latitude measured with a step charts results to more than 10,5 stops... Varicam sensitivity is at 500ASA at 24fps 180degrees shutter @ -3dbs !
Varicam's are universal... so Europe, Asia, America... it can work everywhere...
I'm just printing on 35mm a feature that we just finished... The images are stunning... I'm very sorry that I will let go... but a Viper is a Viper... probably with the only camera that I could trade my Varicam...
I also sell a Zeiss ZF lens 50mm f1.4 in the original box with warranty... the lens is like new I use it only for test and few demo reels... reason of sale is: I just bought the F2 macro... so I don't need it any more... price is 390 euro's
