FS (UK): Canon HV20, Brevis, Shrigg & Extras...

Hi Everyone,

I am finally calling it a day with my 35mm adapter rig. I tried to make a small rig that I could set-up quickly and get great results from. It certainly gets the results, but it is too heavy for me to use as a run and gun (I have shoulder and back problems) and I need the money to buy more video equipment for setting up a corporate videos business...

Added to it is:
A top handle made from a piece of bent metal and a BMX grip (padded with rubber inside to hold tighter),
A quick release mounting that I used for attaching a small field monitor,
A spacer to increase the height clearance,
A lightweight mic holder with velcro fastening.

The monitor mount is adjustable with a single turn of the thumb screw for optimising the viewing angle.

I kept the original screws that became redundant after I added a vertical spacer (the silver block) so this can be removed to get it back to its original height, and I also have 2 spare tightening screws and rubber stoppers to go with it... Very handy!

Images of the Brevis35 adapter.

Included is:
Brevis35 MP.2 adapter,
CFX Cinefuse Ground Glass element (installed) & case for cinefuse,
Nikon F Mount (installed),
Non-flip achromat (installed),
Pelicase,
72-43mm Stepping Ring,
Power Adapter & UK "figure of 8" plug,
Allen Keys & Tool,
Original Purchase Receipt (in my girlfriends name),
Sticker,
Cinevate Cleaning cloth.

*** EDIT ***
Spare motor for adapter (was hidden in the lid)
*** END EDIT ***

Everything is 100% working. The battery does indeed last as long as they claim (only ever charged it ONCE). Nice and clean in the optics too.

This would be great for a small cam such as the HV's etc, or a larger cam's alike.

Grab a bargain.

Images of the Manual Focus Ring.

Included:
Irv's MFR.

I have used this on the above rig for quick and easy back focus... Which means each time I take the battery out (not often thanks to the fantastic batts above) I had to use it to refocus on the Brevis's GG.

Other than that it was used for one day on a bare camera for my sisters wedding.

Prices are negotiable, but as I feel I have offered them at a very sensible rate (due to being a lover of this forum) as they stand, I will only really consider minor drops in price.

These cams are selling well on eBay for £400-£500, so I set my price low.
The batteries are more tricky as they came from the USA and therefore would be more expensive for us europeans what with import duty etc. I have priced these at a fair rate compared to how much they would cost if you imported them yourself.

If people buy multiple things (e.g. HV20, batteries and MFR) then I will try and do a deal...

I have left the box for the HV20 at my girlfriends parents' house.
I will post images of that after the weekend.

This goes for quotes to post, as I will need to weigh it.

(post 1 of 2)

Included:
Canon HV20 Video Camera (UK PAL)
2x Batteries (1x Official Canon 1200mAh, 1x Generic 1450mAh)
1x Charger (Official Canon)
1x Remote Control (+ spare CR2025 battery)
1x A/V Cable
1x Neckstrap
1x USB cable (mini-b type)
1x User Manual
1x Canon Solutions Disk (CDROM)
Original Box and packing material

I have included close ups of the camera...
Note: There are one or two very minor marks that I did not notice until today. I have photographed them as best I can, and are obviously only slight cosmetic issues that will in no way affect the video or images shot with this camera.

Cheers for waiting.
