Condition: excellent+. There is no scratches, no fungus, no haze on the glass. Auto focus works smoothly.
Compatibility: this lens works with most Nikon SLR camera bodies but each camera`s details of compatibility are different.
VIDEO: This lens is great for video application. With proper adapter it is a great match for your DSLR or your new AF100/AF101. Or for the upcoming Sony F3. Optical performance: by f4, it gets really sharp and contrasty.
VERY MATTE BOX FRIENDLY: this is basically one of the 3 lenses (of this zoom range) in the world that DOES NOT EXTEND WHILE ZOOMING (other 2 being ATX 28-80 and Angeniux 28-70).
Solid built (all metal), with rubber grip rings. Most of all, it is a Nikon mount with f-ring (not G), so adapting for any other mount is simple.
Price 1: $440US (lens, both caps)
Price 2: $479 (lens, both caps, Nikon to EOS adapter)
+ actual shipping.
