FS: Super 8 Canon 814 auto zoom

[robmneilson]

I've got a beautiful Super 8 camera up for grabs. I bought it as a #2 Super 8 camera and I never ended up using it as much as I thought.

Its in near perfect condition...(I'd rate is a 9/10) and the lens is pristine.

It comes with a carrying case as well...

I'll take $200 bucks OBO.

BTW fully manual, does 12,18,24 FPS.

Ill take paypal, but would prefer cash/money order and NYC pickup.

[EDIT-XTREEM]

Just for interests sake, When was this camera manufactured?

[robmneilson]

I have no idea...cosmetically the camera is in tip top shape and the gate is very clean.

There is a servicing sticker from Bell & Howell but there is no date on it. Any clue how I can find out the date of manufacture from looking on the camera body?

Anyone interested in a great super 8 camera?

[robmneilson]

No super 8 lovers? Should I take this as a sign that it's a bad idea to sell my camera?

I havent used it much in the last six months, but I don't want to regret giving it up!

[hungrych]

have any footage from it?

[robmneilson]

Nope sorry nothing I ever had transferred. I shot part of a film with it, but I ended up re-doing the whole scene in Super 16 after I lost the original location.

[robmneilson]

I put about 8 rolls through it, and the rest of the time it's sat lonely in my closet while I used my K-3 for home movie type stuff.

[robmneilson]

Anyone interested?

If it's a no go I'll just keep it for myself and try to get off my ass and use it more.
