Lets see... I stated it's "barely used" and "I doubt you can find a cleaner one second hand." I'm asking $600 total, shipped, no PayPal fees. You feel compelled to post the new price in my thread (referred to as thread crapping), the best price being $665 at B&H, plus a minimum of $10 shipping, for a total of at least $675. Thus, I'm offering a sub-$1000 product in exc condition with an asking price representing a savings of $75. And note that nowhere do I say my price is firm. So, what is your point? If you have nothing better to do and would like to debate pricing, use the PM button.
I think you're being a bit harsh. Why would you be offended that a prosepctive buyer should know that your asking price is nearly that of a new one, which of course includes a waranty too? Makes you look bad IMO.

Although it certainly appears as though Chris was just letting the seller know his asking price might be a bit high for the market (which seems to be borne out by the drop in price. And having seen Chris around the boards, he certainly seems like a guy just trying to help a brother out), it is in the forum rules that you not post in a thread you aren't interested in.
That being said, a simply reply of "thanks for the info, I'll stick by my price" may have been more appropriate.

A prospective buyer inquires via PM, not dropping a turd in a thread. Btw, you quoted a post I made 20 days after the fact. Not sure what compelled you to comment on it now (are you a prospective buyer?), but I'll stand by my comments, defending my price by explanation in response to an inappropriate post. Was it a bit harsh? Perhaps, if one is terribly thin-skinned. But one invites fair criticism when crossing that line.
This thread (original post) was updated 12/02 to indicate that the MixPre was sold.
