I've gotten a lot of great results with these two cameras and lenses, but I want to return to a camcorder form factor... it's more my style.
I'm selling a Sony NEX-VG10 with approximately 45-50 hours of use on it (estimated - this camera has no hours meter). I bought it specifically for use on a short film festival entry that I recently completed, and it performed admirably. Footage here is at +18 and +24db under extremely dim ambient lighting conditions, no external lights used:

The VG10 + 18-200mm lens kit will ship with the original box, included accessories, manuals, and software (including a data DVD with the downloaded bonus software and serial #s for them - i.e. Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10, and DVD Architect Studio 5).
I am also including the extended life Sony NP-FV100 battery, which gives approximately 5 hours of shooting time with the LCD screen in use, 6 hours of shooting time if you prefer the eyepiece viewfinder.
Finally, I will also include a Beachtek DXA-4p XLR adapter that allows you to use XLR mics on the VG10. This also allows you to take a line-level input from a mixer. ($250 new)
Operationally, the VG10 works perfectly with no performance issues at all. The camera body is cosmetically like-new with only a minor nick in the finish next to the 1/4"x20 tripod socket screw on the underside of the camera.
The 18-200 lens is operational and it performs very well as a general purpose lens. I primarily used adapted Nikon "F" mount lenses on the VG10, so it has seen very little use. There is a little bit of dust under the front lens element (10x telescoping zoom lenses suck a lot of air in when you zoom in and out), but the dust does not appear in any still or video image shot with either the VG10 or NEX3 or affect performance in any way.
For the VG10 + 18-200mm lens + extended battery + Beachtek dxa-4p (a $2350 + shipping value NEW), I'm looking to get $2000 shipped/paypalled OBO.
Also for sale is my Sony NEX-3 + 16mm f/2.8 kit. This kit will come with the box, manuals, paperwork, and all of the supplied accessories. The camera is in great shape (only used for 2 vacations and 3 or 4 family events), and the 16mm f/2.8 lens works well on both the VG10 and the NEX3 for stills AND video. I'd like to get $450 shipped/paypalled (this kit is $550+ new).
