This Vaio has been my little frankenPC for a while. A friend of mine gave it to me with a cracked LCD, and a little elbow grease and a new LCD from ebay, the machine was up and running. It had a tuner card in it and used it as my TV for a while, but since the switch to digital broadcasting, I decided it wasn't worth the upgrade. Obviously it has some battle scars, but it functions without a hitch.

I put an eSata card in its PCI slot and used it to offload my P2 using P2CMS. I've used on a few shoots, each time without issue, and offloading to a 750gb Lacie Quadra external drive, I've clocked it at about 2gb/minute. Not shabby. At this price point, I couldn't complain. With the esata card you can add another internal IDE drive, and two more internal SATA drives or one internal/one external. I haven't reached that point, but from a redundancy stand point, you could be very much covered.

However, much of my work has me traveling and running all over, which doesn't leave me much of an option for lugging this around. That's the draw back, its a bit bulkier than a standard laptop. With the P2 cards I have, I can get through a day of shooting, so offload speed is no longer mission critical to keep up with the shoot. I will likely order the PCD2GPJ in a few months, but for right now, the camera should be enough for me.

Not sure what its worth, but hoping for somewhere around $200 including shipping. Make me an offer you feel is reasonable.

I will ship it CONUS only.
