Price: SOLD

Update: The Sony Battery/Charger have been sold separately.

Selling my Sony HVR-MRC1K unit along with a Sony NP-F570 L-Series battery and the Sony ACVQ1050D L-Series dual battery charger.

The HVR-MRC1K was bought 5 months ago and still has 7 months left on the warranty. I can provide the purchaser with the receipt upon request. I used it with an XH-A1, but I recently sold the A1 for an HMC150 and no longer need the Sony unit. It was only used on a few shoots and spent the rest of the time resting in a Pelican case. I used it with 133x Lexar 8GB cards and it worked great.

Both the battery and charger were bought new through Amazon and were purchased 5 months ago as well. The battery has only seen two charge cycles (the unit draws VERY little power). Everything comes in its original packaging, with all the manuals, CDs, warranty card, etc.

Paypal or available for local pickup in the Bay Area.

Just thought I'd say I like this little recorder. I have a Z7 and mostly shoot to CF card.

If I still had a Z1, I would consider purchasing this. Anyone shooting with a Z1 or V1 this would be a great addition. I'd guess that it could work w/ a Canon XH-A1 too, but I don't know for sure.

Pretty much if you don't want to transcode AVC, or have the extra cash for XDCAM or P2, this is the way to go for tapeless recording. I usually can transfer 5min into FCP in under 1min w/ a Firewire 800 card reader.

The HVR-MRC1K will definitely be able to record the HDV stream out from the firewire. I even tried it on my old Sony-TRV22 for a DV stream. What I don't know if that if the SYNCHRO mode is compatible. My assumption is that it would be.

Argh, I would have jumped all over this three months ago when I still had my A1. Like you, I sold the A1 to jump to the 150.
