FS: Sony EX1 kit (camera, mic, case, SxS, etc)

It's a very long story, and I love this camera, but I've decided to focus more on my still photography than on my new tech-obsession with video. It's a sad hard decision, but I have to do it.

All the equipment is mint, and less than 5 months old. Everything you need is here: batteries, cards, zoom control, cover, shotgun mic, etc. I have receipts and manuals for everything, and original boxes for some. I'd like to sell everything together, as I have custom cut the Pelican foam to fit everything precisely, and it can be shipped safely in this. Everything is still under warranty from manufacturers.

List of included equipment:
- Sony PMW-EX1 (mint, no backfocus problems, it went to Sony once and got the latest firmware update)
- (2) 8gb SxS cards
- (1) 16gb SxS card
- (1) Sony BP-U30 battery
- (2) Sony BP-U60 batteries
- B+W 77mm UVA slim filter on lens
- Petrol (PRC-S-HDV) rain cover with carry bag
- Pelican 1610 waterproof case w/ foam custom cut, wheels, pull out handle, auto pressure valve
- Cinetatics ls40 screen hoodie (never used)
- Sennheiser K6 Power Module (for mic)
- Sennheiser ME66 Short Shotgun mic (super cartoid)
- 1' coiled XLR cable with 90-deg (for mic)
- Bebob Zoe Zoom Control for EX1 (for controlling zoom remotely)
- Rycote Softie (wind cover for mic)
- Original battery charger, video cables that came with EX1, camera strap
- Vortex Media EX1 instructional DVD

All of this stuff bought new retail would total $9735 +tax. I'm asking $8100 (plus shipping/paypal fees) as it's all in mint condition. Pop the case open and you are ready to shoot in 1080p with the EX1.

You can view the four pieces I shot with this exact camera setup on my website: www.jmvdigital.com (under Motion page) or on my Vimeo page: http://www.vimeo.com/jmvdigital.

I just found my Vortex EX1 training DVD, which I might as well throw in as well. Same price, $8100 or best offer.

Thanks Gymnut.

If it makes anyone feel better, I've recently sold my Matrox MXO and Sachtler tripod to happy folks if you need a buyer reference.

Hi!

If you consider selling stuff individually I would be interested in these:

- (1) 16gb SxS card
- Sennheiser K6 Power Module (for mic)
- Sennheiser ME66 Short Shotgun mic (super cartoid)
- 1' coiled XLR cable with 90-deg (for mic)
- Bebob Zoe Zoom Control for EX1 (for controlling zoom remotely)
- Rycote Softie (wind cover for mic)

Also I live in Finland so it would have to be shipped internationally. Never hurts to ask right :)

Still trying to sell it as a kit as much as possible. Interested first in finding a buyer for the camera, whatever that buyer isn't interested in, I will part out separately.

Since quite a few people have asked, I would be willing to sell the kit WITHOUT the audio gear (mic, power module, softie, xlr cable) for $7800 + shipping/paypal.

Thanks,
-J

If the camera is anywhere near as nice as the tripod I just bought from Justin, and it looks like it definitely is from the photos, it would be a really great outfit. The tripod looks like brand new and I couldn't be more pleased. Justin is great to deal with and could not have done a better job at packing, shipping, and just being a good person to buy from. Thanks Justin!

If overall cost is a concern, as it seems to be, I can sell:

- Sony EX1 with waterproof Pelican case, all three batteries, two 8gb SxS cards, B+W UV filter, and the Vortex DVD for $6450 (sells new for $7350)

- The mic, power module, Rycote softie, and XLR cable for $425 (sells new for $535)

- The Bebob Zoe zoom control (sells new for $375) for the EX1 for $285.

- The 16gb Sony SxS card for $725 (sells new at $850)

- The Petrol rain cover and Cinetactics screen hoodie for $85, both never used (sells new for $120)

Prices don't include shipping and paypal fees (if applicable). Let's go folks, I want rid of this stuff.
