Hi dvxuser, here's what I have to sell, its the dp1x bundle
everything is in a like new condition

• smallHD dp1x high def monitor, 1280x768 pixels (covers 720p), 500:1 contrast ratio
• neoprene 4 sided sunhood (control buttons are on the back of monitor)
• neoprene protective sleeve for safe transport
• matte screen protectors (one currently on the dp1x and one unused spare)
• 2x batteries (only used on two shoots, scuff marks on casing of one battery)
• 2x battery chargers
• battery mounts bracket and cable to connect battery to dp1x
• Power adapter to run dp1x from wall outlet
• D-Tap adapter
• HDMI to HDMI cable
• HDMI to mini-HDMI cable
• instruction card listing button functions and menus etc
• original boxes, foam and packaging
** additionally this monitor is currently calibrated to match prores when running off canon dslr

without shipping costs, price is $750, some pics showing dp1x, hood and batts are below, also a video of lens cap test

Just want to chime in on the Monitor. I have one with the same accessories and it is amazing to work with set up with my 7D. This monitor is daylight viewable, lightweight and very crisp.

hey man, i've got two local buyers I met off my craigslist ad, both truing to meet me in the next few days to see my dp1x

if for some reason they fall thru I'll get in contact, paypay is cool for me

It's stuff like this that keeps me from ever considering buying stuff through a message board.
You stated your price, the man met your price and then you pull back for a better deal elsewhere. Not good.

I can see that logic, but if he doesn't sell it to me, I'll just buy the DP6 new from the store. Sure, with all the goodies it's nearly TWICE the price... and smaller... but this seemed like a good deal, I was about to lay down $1k for the DP6, saw this and decided to go for it.

Maybe it would be good if sellers mentioned that they were listing it other places and stuff, but the only place you can get that level of feedback is ebay. At least on messageboards you can discuss stuff in the open, unlike scamslist. . .err spamlist. . .err craigslist. =P

both my other buyers are offering the same amount AND contacted me before

I'm rigorously honest, all I have in this world is my talent and my word and if you knew me personally
you would realize that really f*cking quick, I also don't take shi* from anyone

please take note of the times on the posts. I alerted suicdekng within 30 minutes of him posting letting him know there were other buyers ahead of him.
BTW there is also a 4th possible buyer who PM'd me without posting on the thread.

First off, I ain't yer buddy and second off, suicdekng seems to have no problem with this situation so...I'm outa here.
 
J.Davis listed this on other forums and on Craigslist days ago, because, surprise, he wants to sell it. His gear, his sale. If he douses it in gasoline and sets it on fire, what business is it of ours?

If I don't hear otherwise from you by Wednesday night I will just order a monitor from smallHD.com.

I don't mean that like a threat or ultimatum or anything, it is hard to convey emotions in typing. If the other guys don't want to buy yours, just let me know before Wed night and you have yourself a sure sale right here. If you can get a better deal, or have someone coming later in the week, no hard feelings.

My first buyer (well the guy who contacted me first) has had difficulty scheduling and now seems to have not returned my calls. Not sure what's happening there but I like to give the benefit of the doubt as we have spoken on the phone, he seems like a nice dude and he's local to NYC.

My second buyer has contacted me several times and is flying in from SFrisco on tuesday night, wants to meet me wednesday as he has an important gig in NYC that he wants the monitor for. He has even offered to paypal me in advance but I said to wait as I had already promised to let the first guy check out the monitor and make a decision.

At this stage anything can happen, it might have sold by midweek it might not have. Just letting you know whats up so you can make the correct decision with whats best for you. I made note of your email before you deleted it from you post (good move). I'll email you with my cell number.
 
FWIW,

I contacted JDavis in a PM about his monitor, and he is true to his word. He is giving first shot to those who contacted him first. I have personally lost money doing this, but it is the straight up way to do biz.

Further, he sent me PMs to let me know what was going on.
