This was a gift from someone but is too lightweight for an HVX. I'm not sure what brand it is. It might be best used with an HV20 or something similar.
The camera plate adjusts forward and backward to get further or closer to your body. The chest/stomach support post also changes height. It is possible to change the angle of the shoulder piece in relation to the chest post. There are more adjustments possible, but hard to describe.
