I'm putting up for sale my Schoeps MK41 active set up. This is a very compact microphone/preamp system. Instead of microphone bodies, the MK41 hypercardioid capsules attach to a custom-made KCY compatible cable. All the necessary electronics are contained in the cable and preamp.
The legendary Sonosax is a compact preamp that has been lauded by live concert tapers for its accurate sound reproduction. It provides up to +76 dB of variable gain. It runs off of 2x 9v batteries and can also accept an external power supply.

(2) MK41 capsules, unmatched, one in nickel finish (very good/near mint) and the other in grey (near mint)
(2) DPA windscreens, mint, used once
(2) "Dead Muppets" which are hand-made fur windscreens that fit over the DPA windscreens, never used

2. Vark custom-made KCY 250/5 Ig compatible cable *SOLD*
In cosmetically good condition. There are a lot of scuffs, but functions perfectly. This is a cable made by Vark Audio (an authorized Schoeps dealer and service) that is compatible with the KCY specs. It has 2 Collette connectors on one end, and one 5-pin binder at the other.
3. Sonosax SX-M2/LS + external battery
In cosmetically near mint condition. There is a velcro patch used to secure it to the external battery (this was how I received it). Includes the original flight case.
The external battery is switchable between 16V/19V and has the same footprint as 9V external LiIon DVD batteries. I made a super long battery-to-Lemosax cable that I will include, as well as the cable I received when I bought it. I haven't seen too many of these batteries around, and I found one online for $80. It is cosmetically in very good condition with some scuffs, and two velcro patches to secure it to the Lemosax. It will come with the charger.
$1200 + shipping.
