i bought this mic a little less than a year ago and i swear i have never used it other than to test it when it first arrived...

i had thought it would be handy to have one cos-11 that would work with plug-on transmitters that didn't have phantom power.

i never ended up needing it and now i'm converting everything over to lectrosonic, so i can't see having the end cut off and a lectrosonic plug added!

it is silver and in absolute mint condition. it was kept in a custom cut-out foam padded mic case.

it can also of course be used with external phantom power.

B&H lists it for $399 i'll sell it for $350 with all the original accessories including UPS ground anywhere in the 48 states.

i thought i had it sold but nope. so this is still for sale.

this is wired with an xlr at the end and inbetween the xlr and the mic itself is a battery compartment that holds one AA to provide the phantom power.

if you goto B&H and search for "Sanken COS11SBPBK" it is that mic and the one i am selling is silver not black.

you can have the xlr end cut off, a sennheiser connector added and then have it setup so you can put back on the xlr connector and use it both ways.

i have cos-11's and a cub-01 set that way, i have a lectrosonic connector on them and then i also have an opposite lectro connector which goes to an xlr male.

i like the flexibility of being able to use them as wired if the wireless isn't needed.
