hello
i have a brand new cos11 lavalier, the one with the battery phantom built into the xlr connector. you just put one AA battery in the body of the XLR connector.
this is useful because if you have something like a plug-on transmitter that doesn't do phantom it will work fine with this mic.
the sennheiser plug on transmitters are $227 without phantom power (SKP100G2)
but the sennheiser plug on transmitter with phantom is $439
i bought the mic when i was doing a lot of documentary stuff and i already had one plug on trasmitter with phantom and i got a second without phantom but i wound up never using this mic.
so other than my plugging it in the day it arrived brand new, and then checking it recently, it has sat in a box on a shelf.
b&h new is $399
