ATTENTION.
I am reposting this with a new post.
I spoke to another tech at Sachtler today and he told me how to adjust the hot-pod.
I was wrong, there is no problem at all!
I tested it today with my Sachtler Caddy and it was rock solid after I adjusted it.
I put all my weight on it and it did not move at all!

For sale is a Sachtler HOT-POD 1-Stage Hot-Pod Tripod Legs (100mm Bowl) with Pneumatic Column and Integrated Mid-Level Spreader.
It is in GREAT cosmetic AND Functional condition.
Functionality does need to be fixed (my partner used it on a wedding and it worked, I would get it fixed).
The 100mm bowl will grab and hold your 100mm ball head, BUT the head is not secured enough. The head can go out of level if you put enough weight on it. I contacted Sachtler and they said they could fix it and that the parts are still available for the entire tripod assembly.
This one is metal, not carbon fiber like the newer models.
Brand new this tripod costs $2600.00.
I am selling this one as is for (price drop) $350.00 plus Paypal fee of 3% and shipping.

Some information from the BH site: The fastest tripod in the world is the Hot Pod Tripod. The Hot Pod's central locking system releases all three legs simultaneously. The pneumatic center column easily lifts loads of up to 25-kg/55 lb to lens heights of over 2m/6.5 ft. The elevation force of the pneumatic center column is factory set and maintenance free, A change of location? You can easily carry the Hot Pod using its handle (strategically positioned at the tripod's center of gravity).
