-Information-
Thank you for viewing my post. You are looking at a superb Powerbook G4 bundle which includes a 15.2" Apple Powerbook G4 notebook, two external 80gb hard drives (bus powered 2.5" form factor), a heavy duty Carrying Case, over the shoulder, a 25ft VGA Extension cable and a copy of P2 Genie, software used for transferring Panasonic P2 Card footage to external drives (I am sure everyone knows about this software). Please read below for all the information regarding this awesome bundle.
The condition of the laptop is near new, with one or two very light scratches on the bottom and one tiny dent pictured above. I take great care of my electronics, clean them on a daily basis. This system was used for two things only: Dumping footage from P2 Cards (PC Card Flash Drives, same as USB Flash Drives but plug into your cardbus slot on the side of the laptop, also known as PCMCIA card) and viewing footage dumped from those cards through the laptop. The system has been well cared for, and retains a warranty that if requested, can be transferred to the new owner. I purchased this laptop on April 13th, 2007. Came with a 1 year warranty so there is a considerable amount left. Everything is included, power adapter, power adapter extension cable, modem cable, s-video to rca adapter, dvi to vga adapter, ac wall plug, original Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger Restore Discs, manuals all nicely packaged in the original packaging. The system has been wiped clean with a fresh install of the operating system, so when you get it, it would be like if you purchased it new from the store. It was also upgraded from 512mb of system memory to 1gb certified apple memory to improve system performence.
Also included is two external 80gb Hard Drives and a copy of P2 Genie. Both the hard drives are user built. The first drive is a ST980815A Seagate 5400.3 80GB IDE Hard drive enclosed in a macally PHR-250CC Aluminum 2.5" USB & 1394 External Enclosure. This enclosure hosts both USB 2.0 and Firewire 400 connections. The entire case is aluminum and one of the most sturdy models out there. It is also stackable. Comes in the original packaging with all cables and manuals. The Seagte drive is the best out there with Perpindicular Recording, reduces power consumption, less ware on the platters and increases the life of the drive, number one choice for backing your critical date on. The second drive was a redundent backup (in case one of the drives failed, once footage was dumped, this would be the only copy). Inside is a Hitachi Travelstar 80gb IDE 4200 rpm 2.5" hard drive enclosed in a Eagle Tech USB 2.0 Black case. The model number for the hard drive is IC25N080ATMR04 and the case is EB-240-00065. P2 Genie is a simple software that made it much easier and more efficient to transfer footage from the P2 cards to my external drive. It is an invaluable piece of software that has been registered specifically to the Serial Number of this laptop. You can download a new copy any time from the site below and will never have to register it since the Serial Number is embedded in the code of the software, making it very hard to use on other systems. Check the link below for more info.
