I am currently selling my Panasonic AG DVX 100b. This camera has been a great piece of equipment, and the only reason I am selling is to buy an HD camera. I purchased it from a seller on dvxuser.com in 2008 so I went through all the steps to verify that the camera was a legitimate, American Panasonic product. I called Panasonic and verified that the serial number was a legit number, so know that you will not be receiving a cheap foreign knock-off.

The camera was brand new from the first seller when I bought it (0 hours) and still in its original box. You will be receiving everything I purchased from the original seller, on top of a few extras. I have only used Sony tapes on the heads because the class I used the camera for required Sony. I have never switched tape brands and never used the camera as a deck, so the heads are in extremely good shape. I also replaced the camera baseplate. The 100b was known for having a weak, plastic tripod mount, so I purchased the santofilme product through DVXuser.com and was really satisfied with the new hardware. The new plate meets the standards for a professional tripod.

Purchased in 2008
47 hours of recording
Well-kept, maintained, and clean. Works perfectly.
Owner’s manual, Barry Green’s DVX Book and DVD, Magic Bullet and Instant HD software by Red Giant, and all original accessories (battery, charger, mic mount, etc.)

Panasonic DVX 100 B
Black Pelican 1520 case with foam ($109.75)
Sony Cleaning Tape
(2) Two Sony Tapes
Santofilme reinforced baseplate ($63.00)

I purchased the camera alone a year ago for $2150. I am selling the camera with all accessories, case, and baseplate for $1900, you pay shipping. I’m in Southern California; payment through paypal please.

I'd love to buy it, as now looking at shooting SD for a big self funded project. But alas,.. its NTSC and I'm in PAL country. Bets of luck..

i know this is pushing it but mind waiting till early august to sell XD
for a 15 year old film enthusiast lol
just wondering

Haha well I'm actually headed overseas in about a week and was hoping to get my new camera before that. Unfortunately, can't get the new one until I sell my DVX. But I can almost guarentee that there will be DVX's for sale in August. :)

I'm willing to negotiate, PM if interested.

Forgot to include, also comes with the two pieces of software Panasonic included - Magic Bullet and Instant HD.

i think that no one seems to want it is because your asking for too much when its been used by 2 people. the problem isnt the amount of use its just that we're not too sure how good of a care the first person took with the camcorder. anyone think the same?

Yeah, I kind of agree. I'd personally love to buy it, but not at that price with 47 hrs and 2 previous owners.

Sorry, but perhaps someone will eventually come along and pick it up from you at that price, and then you'll know that I'm full of B.S. :)

Good luck....hope it moves before you do!

Honestly bro, a used dvx 100b can go for 1500, no more. I suggest you re thing your asking price.

I just sold a DVX package and got $1750. It had a lot of extras included, 6 batteries, an azden wireless mic, a cheap tripod, aspect lcd clings, Barry Green book, Instant HD and a nice soft case. For a quick sale you probably will need to drop the price a bit. Go to Ebay, craiglist and see what they are selling for. Good luck.

Results do vary greatly...I recently sold one of my DVX's with high hours along with a hardshell case. Nothing extra, not even all the manufacturer parts were there. I got $2,100. I've also seen low hour ones go on eBay for $1,400. It's just a hit/miss kinda thing.

Prices are going up on new ones right now ($100 more than a month ago at most places) so that helps the used market, obviously.

If you gotta move it fast though, a lower price will get it done.
